Record Sport has a story that has come from Gazzetta.gr, claiming that Brendan Rodgers is now thinking of using Kolo Toure as an intermediary to convince the midfielder to go to Celtic for the second half of the campaign.  Yaya is a free agent after coming to terms with his release from Olympiacos last month and is looking for a new challenge. The former man from Barcelona and Manchester City is not yet trying to hang his boots, and if Brendan Rodgers were genuinely interested, then he definitely has a jump in other clubs that have Kolo in his personal behind-the-scenes.
However, it's all just a bit too convenient. While Celtic's transfer policy seems to suggest a more significant role for Kolo in recruitment, moving from that to suggesting that he could mediate an agreement to see his brother make a sensational move in Scotland is to blow the gun.
While Celtic fans welcome someone of his caliber, particularly for the Europa League draw against Valencia ̵
