Tower Hamlets ‘murder’: Woman found dead in luxury London apartment



A murder investigation was initiated after a young woman was found dead in a luxury London apartment.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to a residential address in Tower Hamlets shortly after 4pm on Friday after reports of an assault.

The officers participated and a woman, believed to be in her thirties, was found with a critical neck wound.

She was declared dead on the spot at 4:17 pm.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course and formal identification awaits.

His closest relatives were informed.

"Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to a residential address in City Island Way, E14, shortly after 4pm on Friday 11 January, following news of an assault.

"The officers participated.

" A woman, believed to be in her thirties, was found with a critical neck injury. She was declared dead on the spot at 16.17hrs. "

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said:" We were called at 3:57 pm today (January 11th) to City Island Way, E14 to report an incident.

"We sent an ambulance team, an accident response officer and a single rescuer in a car on the scene. We had also sent the London Airborne ambulance.

" Unfortunately, a person she was declared dead on the scene. "
