The CES 2019 was held this week in Las Vegas and there were several noteworthy announcements for Apple fans. A handful of new HomeKit accessories have been exhibited, including door kits compatible with HomeKit.
Also this year AirPlay 2 was a focal point, with Vizio, Samsung, Sony and LG announcing the addition of AirPlay 2 support to their televisions. Samsung has also added a dedicated app to access programs and movies on iTunes TV.

In addition to CES 2019, this week also saw an influx of rumors on the iPhone 11. The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday that Apple is designing three new iPhones for 2019. The new models include one with a camera with three lenses, plus a follow-up of the iPhone XR with a dual lens camera.
Tim Cook sat Tuesday with Jim Cramer of CNBC to talk about Apple's plans for 2019. Apple's CEO reported that the iPhone XR is failing "bologna". He also joked that Apple has new services coming in 2019 and declared that "the greatest contribution to humanity" "It will be in the health sector.
