A man died of an alleged gunshot wound after the car that was a passenger entered "pedestrian".
The victim was declared dead on the spot by the paramedics who were called to Hillingdon, London at 11.43pm today.
A Met police spokesman said: "A silver Mercedes is said to have collided with a number of pedestrians and vehicles.
" None of the pedestrians are deemed to be seriously injured.
"A male passenger in the Mercedes was found to suffer from an alleged gunshot wound."
A nearby Lidl car park was also fenced off by the police.
An eyewitness said to West West London : "My aunt just saw the aerial ambulance landed in front of her car and we saw some paramedics working on someone on the ground.
" They put the buses on the diversion and there's a & # 39; high presence of emergency services. "
James Carson was visiting his mother nearby when he heard the air ambulance hovering over his house.
The 26 year old said he saw" between 10 and 15 machines of the police "on the scene.
" A woman was visibly distressed and cried, the neighbors came out to put a blanket over her, "he told GetWestLondon.
London & # 39; s Ambulance and London Ambulan Service was present, but despite the efforts man could not be saved.  The closest relatives of the man were not informed, added a police spokesman.
The Mercedes driver stopped at the scene and was later arrested for suspicion of dangerous driving.
No arrest was made in connection with the suspicion of shooting.
A spokesman for the London ambulance service said, "We were called at 14.43 today at West Drayton Road, Uxbridge to report an accident.
" We sent an accident response officer, two single responders in the car and three ambulance teams at the scene. We have also sent our response team to the hazardous areas (HART) and the London Air Ambulance.
"We treated four people on the scene, three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries and taken to the hospital.The other person, a man, died sadly despite the best efforts of our doctors."
