An 11-year-old boy was killed in a collision from hit-and-run in Manchester.
The child was treated by the paramedics on the scene in the Beswick area, but died because of the injuries reported later hospital
The officers arrested a man of 31 years with the accusation of having caused the death for dangerous driving.
The motorist was arrested after going to a police station and remains in custody for interrogation.
happened on Albert Street shortly after 18.10 on Saturday.
Police later found a nearby abandoned gray VW Golf that is believed to have been involved in the accident.
